LeaguePaper is a broadsheet for football data: standings, fixtures, scorers and the writing around them, set the way a newspaper sets them — densely, plainly, and in columns.
The tables
Standings run the classic ledger: played, won, drawn, lost, goals for and against, difference, points. A green flag on the position marks Champions League places; amber marks Europa League; red marks the relegation zone. The form column reads left to right, oldest to newest.
The data
Out of the box, the paper runs on a sample edition — a realistic snapshot for layout and reading. Connect a free football-data.org API key and every table, fixture list and scorer chart switches to live competition data, refreshed on each request and cached briefly at the edge.
Corrections, like all good newspapers, will be printed promptly and without ceremony.
