Andoni Iraola was a tenacious, athletic right-back who gave more than a decade of loyal service to Athletic Bilbao. Quick to overlap and diligent in defence, he was a model of consistency down the flank throughout the 2000s and beyond.
A one-club man for much of his career, he later became a highly regarded coach, but his reliability and stamina first made his name in the red and white stripes.
