Jesús Navas was a flying winger and later an accomplished full-back whose blistering pace down the right made him a fixture for Sevilla across two long spells. A local product, he helped the club to a stream of European trophies and became one of its most beloved figures.
He also enjoyed success in England with Manchester City, winning domestic honours, and was part of the Spain squad that won the 2010 World Cup, adding an assured defensive maturity to his game in later years.
