Wesley Sneijder was a supremely gifted attacking midfielder with a wand of a right foot, capable of dictating games with his passing and scoring spectacular goals from distance. A product of Ajax, he moved to Real Madrid before finding his greatest glory at Inter.

In 2010 he was the creative force behind Inter’s treble under José Mourinho, and in the same year he drove the Netherlands to the World Cup final, ending as one of the tournament’s standout performers. He later starred for Galatasaray and became one of the most-capped Dutch internationals.
